  1. Watched a very old Montel Williams show today on the case. Of course I knew that the killer had been found and tried. Just thought that the 'Family Friend' of the Skakels got egg in his face sitting there all smug, saying he knew the boys very well and that neither of them could be guilty! Well how well do we even know our own children? I also admired Mrs Moxley who was very serene and composed. I used it as a lesson to my children, reminding them that a liar is always caught out be it one month, one year or 27 years! Good always wins over evil. God Bless and may you now find peace.

  2. After hearing and reading about Martha, I thought about her a lot. I prayed for the Moxley family, so that god give them strength to go on in life and for the criminal to be brougth to justice. Finally it has been done and now FINALLY Martha Moxley can REST IN PEACE. I would like to thank all those who worked hard in this case and helped to bring this man to receive what he deserves. So he complains about treatment in jail?? what did he expect? He is surrounded by his own kind and I hope he rots there!!!

  4. So Michael Skakel is complaining about harsh treatment in prison? Wah, wah, wah... In my opinion it isn't harsh enough. To murder an innocent beautiful girl, and in return receive shelter and 3 meals a day? Is that harsh? I think not. Rot in Cell Skakel.

  5. When I first learned that a grand jury was indicting Michael Skakel, I wasn't the least bit interested in following another Kennedy scandal. But the TV movie was excellent. I liked the way it was narrated by Martha. It drew me into the Moxley family's tragedy.

How can Michael Skakel call himself a RECOVERING alocholic? Don't the 12 Steps include making amends? And how can Tommy Skakel live with his own guilt? If he had been a gentleman and walked her home, Martha would still be alive today.

My hat's off to Dorothy. You are indead a very strong woman. Martha will be waiting for you in the afterlife.

  6. Ms. Moxley,
You are my inspiration. My son was murdered on May 2, 2002. The Virgnia State Police have done a sad job of investigating the death. I have had to fight for answers everyday since we lost our son. I found it necessary to go to the legislature for the state of VA to get permission for the county sheriffs dept. to investigate the case. Things seem to be happening now but it's a struggle everyday of my life. It's people like you that give people like me hope that someone will finally help me. You were very lucky to have found Mark Fuhrman. I have searched and searched websites trying to find a way to contact him to no avail. I do have hope that one day the person responsible for my son's death will be brought to justice. He leaves behind a 2 year old daughter that was the apple of his eye and she sits on the phone all the time talking to her daddy. I wonder if he can really hear her. Thank you for giving us hope and stamina to keep searching for answers.

Im 16 years old and they're no other story that ever touched me like this one did.She was so pretty, popular and sweet from what ive read in many books. She did not deserved this at all like we all know but im very thankfull that justice has been made even after 27 years later.Dorthy and John are very good people that did not give up like many people would of after all theses years.I think of Martha daily...Even if I did not know her I still do think of her ofter, probably because she was such a great person to know and that I wished I did have to chance to know her.
I wish you all the BEST Dorthy & John

  27. This is the best website about a girl who was murdered by a boy who's her age and nephew of Ethel Kennedy. I saw a movie about her murder case. After the movie was over, it was showing when the grownup Michael was going to court. I was so shocked that it was a true story. Ethel Kennedy's family is so crazy and so is she. She went shoplifting at Barneys or Saks Fifth Ave even though she's so rich. It's such a tragedy that she was murdered when she was 15.

  57. It saddens me to know what Martha went through the final moments of her life. But justice prevailed, they final got the monster that took Martha away from so many people who loved her dearly. I commend Mrs. Moxley for all that she had to endure, during the many years wondering. The truth is now know to all. May Michael Skakel spend the rest of his life in prison. Thats exactly what he deserves. Why should he be treated any different. May god bless the Moxley family today and always. GOD BLESS MARTHA.
